Based on a subsequent forensic investigation, The Alcohol & Drug Testing Service determined that cybercriminals infiltrated its inadequately secured computer network. The investigation further determined that, through this infiltration, cybercriminals potentially accessed and downloaded files containing the sensitive personal information of 748,763 individuals.
The information exposed in the data breach includes, but is not limited to:
- Names
- Social Security numbers
- Financial account information
- Credit and debit card information
- Medical information
- Heath insurance information
- Dates of birth
- Driver’s license or other government-issued identification
- Passport numbers
- Usernames and passwords
- Email addresses
- USCIS or alien registration numbers
